Nice sounding bongas
Uros S 01.04.2015
I bought those mainly to learn some latino rhytm and to add some sound to our acoustic music and of course to give it to the kids to learn some percussion beats.
Instrument is very solid made and sound wise quite well sounding considering the price I paid for. It comes with a tuning key which is very useful in terms of getting a more propoer sound out of the drums.
Comparing to higher level instruments sure is a big difference, but for learning and adding some latino beats to the music you play and also for live gigging, the instrument is just perferct. Of course you should not expect the details and sound to be like with 8 times more expanisve, but overall difference is smaller then price difference is.

Very good for the price but not same color as in picure.

The quality is impressive for the price. The sound is not quite as good as the most expensive bongos I've tried but more than adequate.

The only negative is that the color in the picture is VERY misleading. In the pictures it looks kinda golden and shiny with an even finish. In real life if has a natural wood color so more brown'ish and put together from very different looking pieces of wood. So it has a more "striped" apperance with varying shades of natural wood color. If I had known this I would probably had considered the other color option instead.

In short: It looks a lot cheaper than in the photos but works fine sounds great.

Great fun.

I'm only learning to play the bongos, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a beginner kit. But I feel these are adequate for any level of player.

I bought this because they were cheap and I expected the sound of congas, the deep percussive one, although they were in fact bongos.

Bongos are good if you have a good deep sound conga sound in your setup, just to top it over with bongos accents.

Sound is not spectacular, but they make good practice if you're planning to improve yourself in the percussive art.

Good for starters, but if you want more quality sound I recommend looking also at other more expensive ones.
