Great starter kit, mostly well made, kick pedal disappointing

The shells feel well made and even with the basic skins included, an average Dad drummer can tune them to get a good tone. The snare is snappy and feels great. The cymbals are a bit on the cheap side but are ok value for money.

The downside to this kit is the kick pedal. It’s a bit on the firm side for kids even when set to the lowest setting. I’d encourage a different pedal to be included if you want to take this kit up a notch. Compared to the Pearl roadshow junior it’s much cheaper and the hardware like the pedals are where this makes the difference.

Bought for my son to test.
Perfect value for money.
It is great for what it is.
And that is a very cheap and not very good drum kit 😂
Everything is flimsy, sound is dull and overall quality not very good.
Manual for installing is wrong (shows picture and guides with different hardware than the kit and picture of setting up the bass drum the opposite side so had to disassemble that and start over not follow manual)
The snare stand is the worst as it doesn't hold the drum properly so it falls off /loosens all the time.

That said honestly, I can honestly say I do not regret buying it and would buy it again. Just do not expect it to be something it is not.
For what it is it is great.

Funny side note. I bought this at the same time as Millenium top of the line e-kit, and the drum key for Jr kit is 10 times better than the useless one that came with the expensive kit...
