I've been using these stands for a few weeks now, I use them for a pair of Adam Adam A7X monitors and so far they've been fulfilling their role perfectly. They seem sturdy enough, so no complains there.
However, what could be better are the little plastic thingies at the base and on the top of the stand that supposedly should serve to fasten the cables; they are flimsy and can easily come off the stand. Also, the height adjustment is somewhat limited by the holes that are perhaps a bit too far apart, so that doesn't exactly allow the fine-tuning of the height (the height of the stands is adjusted by slipping the little metal bar into a hole that's on the main bar, although presumably it might be set just by tightening the screw, but I'm not sure if I would put my trust into these plastic clamps only to be able to hold weighty monitors). In my case though, the height ended up to be optimal; when I put Adam speakers, tweeters end up to be at the level of my ears (besides, it doesn't seem like something that cannot be compensated in other ways, from adjusting the height of the chair to putting a foam or something appropriate under the speakers. but maybe it might be an issue for some).
All in all I am pleased, I think it's a good deal for the price.
