Decent set of stands
Kinema 26.11.2020
Bought these originally for performance for live gigs.
They are strong and lightweight at the same time, and for a medium set of speakers 10-12" work perfectly. I would use heavier stands for anything above that or heavy wood case speakers, but i can highly recommend these for most setups.

Damping when retracting
Ionlab 08.03.2019
Compared to the immediately "lesser" Millenium model these have a self locking "button" instead of a pin. What I was not expecting was that there is a damping action when retracting the extension pole in order to prevent the extension from retracting too quickly. So even if someone accidentally pressed the safety mechanism the speaker would not come down crashing but will gently be lowered. That being said I do not over-tighten the plastic screws and UV/rust resistance remains to be seen. Overall they seem a decent pair and come with a carrying bag.

Great

Great stands, stable and safe to use because of the "air-brake" in the stand that prevents it from coming down violently if the pin breaks. The automatic locking makes it easy to lift a speaker to the right height, if the speaker is not too heavy.
Only con is the carrying bag, which is flimsy and weak.

Good quality PA stands and relatively light and easy to handle and erect. The main drawback was after several uses the locking screw tended to strip. Thomann very kindly replaced these screws for us a couple of times. The bag that came with the stands was too flimsy and holes soon appeared and the stitching also came apart. We soon had to replace this with another bag.

For the PRO name, make a normal bag!

Stands are great, but the bag is terrible! 4 stars only because of the bag. All other things are PRO

PN
Millennium Vs ‘Big (expensive) Brand’?
Paddy N. 11.11.2013
This is not the first time I have purchased these type of stands. I still have the last two sets - I have purchased these for a friend. I also have ‘bigger name’ stands which cost twice the price and take it from me - a working musician - these are every bit as good. They have a weight which inspires confidence and have sturdy couplings and fixing points. Are they the most expensive stands on the market? No. Are they the best stands in the world? Probably not. Do they hold speakers up sturdily and without having to worry about them - ABSOLUTELY! Good price, good quality - good job.

Pretty happy
DezzieBono 18.02.2020
Have used them around 200 times and have been happy except the securing screws for the the top sliding bar have worn (they are plastic). The stands are still usable because the pins are metal and secure, if you were the press the button and release the pin the pole would slide down so that's a slight worry.

Ive had 2 or 3 sets of these now..they take some abuse and don't last for ever but do just fine for the price..the fasteners on the poles are a bit weak & the threads give out eventually but then again .. the others at twice the price aren't much better , i usually get a couple of years from them & then get new ones ..job done

Good value for money
El Pipita 14.06.2019
They do exactly what you'd expect and are good sturdy stands. Forget about the carry bag though, it's awful and not much use for the weight of the stands.
