Good for small amps, wouldn't trust for bigger items.
James N. 11.04.2014
I bought this for home use in order to; a) try and stop some of the lower frequencies escaping into my laminate flooring and disturbing the downstairs neighbours, and b) to elevate the amp and direct the speaker towards myself, rather than into my bed.

My amp is a Vox AC15C1, which is a rather heavy amp. I was confident on purchase that this stand would support my amp, which it does. However, my intention is to keep my amp on the stand for the foreseeable future (don't know if this is common practice or not). Upon putting the amp on the stand I immediately had the feeling that I couldn't move more than a few feet away from it for fear of it falling off. There is only one arm the holds the arms that hold the amp (if that makes sense), and as a result that is the only thing connecting my amp to the stand. It really didn't feel like it could take much more than I was putting on and I didn't want to gamble how long I could leave it on the stand.

The product I received was also quite warped, which didn't really help my fear of it falling. This meant that the rubber feet did not touch the ground, and rather the metal did which effected stability. The arm holding the arms (again, sense made?) was also bent, meaning that the amp sat at an angle.

I've had many of Thomann's Millienium products over the years and they are great value for money and really do their job well but if you want a stand to support a heavier amp, I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a sturdier product.

Far from expected
Matyas S. 09.02.2020
I bought this to hold my Boss Katana Head. For that, worked like a charm. Unfortunately, I tried to put a combo on it. Buckled under the load. Was a bit flimsy to begin with and it's legs weren't flat on the ground either. After the combo-thing, I decided to never put the Katana on it either. Don't trust it to hold anything valuable. Still works for some applications, but mostly collecting dust in my rehearsal space. Was cheap enough, so... not that regretful about the purchase, but far from happy.

OK for light amps or ones that are not much more than 15" square
ChrisDowning 21.07.2018
I had one for years and used it for teaching. But frankly its just too high for the width of the design and feels like it's been built for a 15" cab and one that's not too deep either. It would have been so much better with a little thought. Feels a bit like this is stocked as it already existed at the manufacturer's. Come on Thamann - get a better one designed and you'll sell thousands - I'll even do the basic dimensions for you!!

Not the best stand
Gerry720 14.05.2019
I got this stand for my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and it worked well for a couple of years. I play mostly in bars locally and do not travel, but it didn't take long for the screws to be stripped and after a few months of trying to hold it together with straps, I bought a new stand. I wouldn't buy one again.

I had a 100watts Original EBS Combo amp on this and it was not 100% safe. I sold the amp!
Defo, weight Limit with this. Easy to knock over on stage!!

Not very stable
RikP 21.09.2015
Great idea for really small gigs, but unfortunately it could not cope with my Carlsbro keyboard amp ..... 17Kg. Maybe perfect for lighter amps. The problem was with the tooth grip adjusters, as they didn' seem to want to stay mated during my gigs.

Functionally ok, but suffer from poor build quality
PerH 15.08.2014
This stand would have been miles better if the factory had spent a few minutes extra on putting the parts together straight before welding. That would easily be worth an extra €10 or more. As is there's hardy a straight joint anywhere and it has to be bent into shape to get it to sit right on the floor, and for the amp to sit straigt. That said, there are few stands that work better for very small/light amps or other small units such as the Kemper Head.
