A handy alternative to guitar stands!
Anonymous 20.11.2015
We've all been there, right? Stages so cramped that we are getting to know the keyboard player just a little bit better than we really wanted to. So little space behind that you'd be better off standing on top of your amp. Stages where, frankly, a guitar stand just takes up valuable space- you know what I'm talking about, right?

The Bass Keeper is the solution! Simply attach to the side handle of your cab, combo, rack or other convenient surface and it holds your precious instrument safely and securely, with an onstage footprint that is literally no bigger than the bottom of your instrument. As a bonus, it folds small enough to stick in your pocket- try doing that with a locking guitar stand!

It's not for everyone, I'll admit. If your back line equipment only has a top carrying handle, or if the handle sits high above the nut position, it won't be much good to you. But if you want a safe way to store your guitar while on stage without taking up too much room, it comes highly recommended. Hell, it was so good, I bought a second one!

Markbass Bass Keeper

Wondering why other companies did not came to markets with such an idea!

I?m playing bass in a small cover rock band, so often we have to live with limited space during gigs. In the past I sometimes was in fear that my instrument fell out of the stand. Using the bass keeper this fear is gone. It?s the price worth, cause it is build with solid materials which give me trust that they will live long. The straps are strong and cushioned, fixing the bass at my cabinet without causing any scratches at the neck. As the body of my instrument has a little more depth and the neck is a little bit ahead over the surface I prefer to turn the bass so the strings are facing the cab. Otherwise the body may touch it.

Never took my stand to an gig since I own this little thing!

S
fantastic, (provided you've got a carpeted speaker cabinet).

This thing is great. I'm always trying to minimise my set up and pack away time as much as I can, and this gizmo is far more convenient than lugging around a guitar stand for my bass. This just sticks straight onto the side of my carpeted bass amp using Velcro, where it just lives permanently, no set up, no pack away, its just always there, and works great. One less thing to carry, one less thing to set up, one less thing to pack away, perfect for band practice's, I recommend getting one for practice's or gigs, but personally I use this just for practice's, as your bass must sit by the side of your cabinet, which is handy?, but could look better. For gigs?, I want a fancier appearance, so I also have a wallacher collapsable string swing permanently attached to the top of my bass fullstack, but that one can only be used when using both bass cabinets, as with one cabinet only, the bass must rest on the floor. This is highly recommended though.

It is perfect to hold the bass without having to bring an extra bass stand to the gig
Never failed me
If my grand mother was still alive I would have asked her to make one of these to me, but she's not so I had to buy it...
