Das Mapex Saturn Rock Set ist ein richtig solides Set mit einem kraftvollen Sound und einer hochwertigen Verarbeitung. Die Kombination aus Ahorn- und Walnusskesseln sorgt für einen warmen, aber dennoch durchsetzungsfähigen Klang – perfekt für Rock und härtere Musikstile.

Optisch macht das Set auch einiges her. Die verschiedenen Finishes sehen edel aus. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich sauber – die Gratungen sind präzise, und dank des SONIClear™ Designs lassen sich die Trommeln leicht stimmen. Allerdings habe ich direkt am Anfang Metallspäne in einigen Gewindegängen gefunden, welche aber leicht zu entfernen waren. Insgesamt ein tolles Drumset für alle, die einen starken Sound und ein schickes Design wollen, ohne dabei Kompromisse bei der Qualität einzugehen.
