Lauten Audio LS-208

When I ordered this microphone, I didn't know what I can expect from it. No Reviews on the internet, No Reviews at Thomann, I was pretty sceptical but I want to give it a try because i've seen some artists recording there guitars with this mic.
Once it arrived, I rerecorded one of my songs to compare the mic with my old ones and spent not much time to find the sweet spot in front of my cab ... just directly on the cone ... and go. I never got such an amazing tone "out of the box".
Of course the tone of a mic is a matter of personal taste BUT I can highly recommend this mic for Guitar recording and think that you will love the tone too ;) . I normally used the "old classics" in business like the Shure SM57, Sennheiser E906, MD421, and so on. (only that you can get a direction of my taste). I don't give it a try on vocals and other stuff yet but i think it will do a great job on it too.
I've found the guitar tone i was looking for :D My journey has ended with this piece of gear! Hope yours will end soon too !
