Decent solid body guitar. It doesn't sound any close to a Les Paul but it has a fine bright sound of it's own (in case you'd like a bright sounding Les Paul)

Features are fine, keeps well in tune, satin neck painting is a nice touch. But easthetics and built quality are the weakest points here:

Jack nut went off a few days after playing it.

Knobs aren't well set in the body, but the worse thing is how they behave: from, say, 10 to 3 nothing happens so you'll find your sweet spot between 3 and 0. Forget a proper swell.

Neck binding was full of black stains probably because filling material ran out between the wood and the binding. Impossible to remove.

Right out of the box some strings were rusty and there was a noticeable ding on the side of the body

Setup right out of the box was kinda terrible; even if the nut was cut a bit high and some frets were buzzing...

So what to say here? I sent it back cause nothing felt "safe" with this instrument, (this is my 1st return to Thomann in more than 15 years)

Having a few guitars, some exellent ones and some trashy ones I'd say that this one fits well the price range. If price is the main factor of your purchase then this one could be ok

Both this dealer and manufacture are sub-par!!!
Terrible Experience 14.11.2022
I purchased from this dealer and received what looks like a demo or used guitar. Strings old and tarnished, build quality had multiple issues form smeared nut glue to bleeding ebony fretboard. To return from USA this dealer does not issue return label - even thought they only paid $65. USD to ship it to USA. However, if you receive something you want to return due to quality issues, the shipping cost is doble what the guitar costs. What a crock!!!
If you reside in USA, I highly recommend NOT purchasing anything form this dealer as they are only interested in "selling" junk and not standing behind to offer true customer service.

Nice Guitar but Quality control could be better
mugen578 12.06.2021
Great sound for a nice price, however, the guitar came with a lot of scratches and after less than a month the cream binding and paint are chipping away. I have also asked Thomann to round the frets and they did a wonderful job rounding them but they never cleaned it after and all the extra stuff is not stuck to the binding and won't come off, honestly disappointing.

My favourite guitar
Hickalum 02.07.2022
I love my Sire L7. Playability is second to none and the tone is excellent. My Gibson LP feels clunky and lumpen after playing the Sire, even though the Sire is quite a bit heavier.
I have two of them, one of which I use to try different pickups … But after trying several alternatives I still can’t find anything that sounds better than the originals ! You can slightly improve the tone though with a TonePros roller bridge which brings out the harmonics a little better.
My only criticism of the Sire is the pickup screws are dreadful, soft cheap material … think of them as disposable! And the finish, which looks superb, is quite easy to damage, it’s not as hard and durable as a Fender for example.

I still can't believe that for this price you can get an instrument this good. Some people warn me about the bright sounding thing, but I actually like it. Good materials, good craftsmanship, good product. Get yourself one

great guitar, great price
clemo76 02.11.2022
received this beautiful guitar yesterday and am very impressed with the finish and action. The sound is what I want from this type of guitar, not too bright with some warmth to the sound.

Don't let the low price fool you - this is the real deal

In a lifetime of playing guitar both as a professional and for fun, I have owned a number of Les Pauls, including late 50s, 60s, 70s and re-issue Heritage models. While on the heavy side, this guitar is great looking, immediately playable, sounds great and costs about what it cost to buy a new Les Paul in 1975! If you need a guitar like this, it is kind of a "no brainer." The folks at Thomann were great about communications and the timing of the (very quick) delivery. I would buy from them again.

Better than most guitars
Denis Popovski 20.08.2023
This guitar is masterpiece. It is loaded with quality hardware, good craftmanship, and beautiful pain tjob. The pickups give great tone, very good for blues, hard rock, metal sound. The locking tuners and the quality bridge keep this instrument in tune. The neck has a satin finish, very comfortable with long time playing. I have this guitar for more than six months, and only thing that was not perfect or very good, were the frets, but with 10 minutes of light hand polishing (anyone can do it while changing the strings), they become perfect. Recommended.
