Really like the “golden alloy” surface on the wound G-string; works very well as a low G on both my concert and tenor size ukuleles, even though it’s not advertised as such. Smoothest wound string in any set of ukulele strings found so far, and yet the diameter is as thick as wound strings in other sets that are advertised as low-G.

Nice rounded sound.

String tension a little too low for concert size.

Wound 4th does not need nut slot to be resized.
