Great full range little keyboard for traveling pianists, small foot print
WenDaMan 21.12.2020
I got this after trying a lot of different mini keys, from Arturia and Akai to the cheaper ones.
Because i travel a lot, it needs to fit in my car easily, but have enough keys to play key-switches (kontakt) and full range piano pieces.
This piano is small, but still has enough keys for this.
The pitch bend and mod wheel are physical too, which plays MUCH better than any touch strip.
Try realistic guitar bends on the Arturia keyboards and then with this keyboard, it just feels much better for me, more fine control.

Maybe the 49 keys was also enough, i got the biggest now.
And for traveling with by plane i still use the Arturia Key Step, it fits in a cabin bag.
Maybe if i carry this Korg keyboard by hand, they will accept it at the gate...ive seen guys carry guitars on board like its nothing.

One thing, and specially compared to the Key Step, is build quality.
Where the Key Step is rugged, strong and sturdy, this keyboard is plasticy, bendable and squicky. It bends a little bit in the middle when you play hard, it just feels weaker.

Other than that, this is by far the best keyboard if you want full range, but still a small foot print.

The wireless part is also handy, specially after you find out that the included USB-A cable is crazy short (like 50cm or so).
it connects very easy through Korg own apps.
Batteries last a couple of days for me. (full production days)
