Now a better softer plastic, but also now with a nasty plastic thread reducer.

Working well with Sennheiser EW SKM handhelds and good value. The plastic on the ones I've just purchased is a little more pliable than it was on some I bought a while back, which is good. However I'm disappointed to note that they've moved to some nasty plastic reduction adapter rather than a metal one. The thread of the main clip is still a brass insert though. Sorry, marking you down by one star for this. I'd rather have paid another 50p to have it with a metal reducer.

Similar to the Shure microphone clamps !
Anonymous 03.11.2015
When I bought my Shure Beta 58A wireless microphones they were delivered with big microphone clamps where you can insert the microphones quite easily from above. I totally loved them. A few months ago I wanted to buy more of these Shure clamps but then I saw the K&M clamps and thought: "Oh they look exact the same. I could try them". And they are almost the same, but 2 ? cheaper than the others. These clamps are made for big microphones and what I like most is the fact that they are flexible enough to insert the microphone from above but also stable enough to hold it in position.
Now, I only use these microphone clamps for big, wireless microphones.

Does what it says on the tin

Something as simple as a microphone clip usually gets no thought what so ever, most people will just use the one that came with mic or anything they have to hand.
That is wrong in my thinking, it can make a difference, a big one.
These K&M ones are well made and almost indestructible.
The are flexible enough to take a variety of mics and not scratch the casing, but will hold them securely and work perfectly day-in-day-out.

Better than very well known and expensive brands

Flexible but with a good grip. The best feature is that they do dot mark the microphone body! Some clip are so rigid that when you insert the mic you mark the mic body, especially big wireless "plastic" body mics. I love this clips because they have the right balance between grip and flexibility. I am not using anymore other original clips.
