H
Wobbly and unstable
Hairboy 21.08.2020
Bought a pair of these for professional use, and have been hugely disappointed by the lack of stability provided by the base. The stands themselves are well made, but the base is insufficient to stabilise the monitors (Unity Audio Rocks Mk2) on carpet. I had an acoustic consultant in to analyse the studio, and he described these stands as "a small step up from rubbish." Wouldn't recommend.

Descent, nice features, but overpriced
Chinobis 11.02.2023
The good:

Tilt and front-rear shifts on the monitor plates are really nice add-ons. I placed my (16 kilo) monitors above my 3 computer screens, tilted and shifted the plates to taste and voila, I can now sit at my computer, having the monitors pointing down at my ears with a clear field of view.

The bad:

If your woofers are large-ish you WILL get noticeable vibrations traveling through the stands to the floor. I guess filling the hollow tubes with something heavy will mitigate that somehow.

There's a wobbliness to the system, but that's a tradeoff for the small footprint. The situation could be alleviated if there was a way to adjust the tripod supports, but there are only plain felt pads to be seen there.

These felt pads are easily compressed by the weight of the monitors and stop being useful at providing meaningful vibration reduction.

I will DIY something in this area, current situation is not good.

Thomann should also make it easier to see if stands are sold single or in pairs, this info should not be buried in the details but visible in the main "studio monitors section".

A
Topline Monitor Stand
Alex_Rev 08.01.2019
The K&M 26754 is a very sturdy monitor stand with a tiltable, yet stable shelf. This stand also offers many options when it comes to adjusting height, tilt or even depth. The adjustment of the depth was particularly useful as it enabled me to center my Focal Alpha 65, which was slightly big for the tray, in order to make the whole as stable as possible. The instructions that come along with the stand are very explicit and explain everything step by step. I would definitely recommend this stand. Excellent Overall.

Exceeded Expectations

These have an amazing effect on the bass acoustics in the room, and the fluent height adjustment make them the perfect height, which really increased the quality of the sound, as my previous cheaper stands were not exact ear level for me.

Also, they are adjustable in depth so I have them almost floating over my desk, which is amazing for me.
