I use this at home to fit my electric 12 string. It was very hard to find a stand like this for electric guitar bodies.

I was not impressed at first because the holding mechanism seems a bit flimsy, but then the (pretty heavy) guitar stayed there for weeks with occasional playing without moving or sliding a bit.

Playing on the stand is ok but the guitar is very vertical, It would be nice to have the possibility to tilt the guitar a bit to improve the view of the neck.

I recommend.

Good stand, but has some strong flaws
Slava Bychenko 13.10.2024
The stand really helps me because of my shoulder pain. This was the thing I really was looking for. It’s very convenient to release the pressure for neck/shoulder/back. But there are some cons:
- The connection of guitar holder to the stand doesn’t hold too well, no matter how tighten the nut.
- the holder’s metal is fairly soft and bends easily.
- the biggest problem are the rubber endings on the holders are easily removed and easily lost because of that. And I don’t see them on the website to order extra. I already lost 2 out of 4. And the holders don’t grip that well without the rubber parts. They slips from the lacquered guitar and scratches it. Why weren’t they glued? And how can I order those extra rubber parts?

K&M quality, but small tweak
timrichard 20.09.2022
Good in the sense that it's much more ergonomic to use this and step away for breaks. Eliminates the occasional back and shoulder pain I had from using a stool and footrest instead. One small problem is that the cradle wobbled for me when the right hand was fast picking lead patterns. I got a Smallrig magic arm with a crab clamp each end, which locks the bottom of the cradle to the telescopic part of the stand, and eliminates any bounce.

Take the back ache out of your practice sessions
RichH 17.01.2023
I was intrigued by this, and got it to try to enable practice with less strain on my shoulders and back.

It is a very well engineered product, as far as I can tell, though it would perhaps be reassuring if the parts were a bit more solid. But that would make it less portable. Also, I've got two K&M guitar stands that I've had for many years, and they have held up well, so I'm optimistic. So far, so good. I would certainly recommend regularly tightening up all parts for this though.
