I wanted to love it but....

The stand works almost as intended, but don't count on it working on all of your guitars, and I wouldn't trust an expensive guitar to this stand.
The clamps are aggravatingly fussy to use, and way too difficult to use for quick quitar changes. When tightened enough to hold a guitar solidly, the clamps can bend or damage the guitar.
The rubber pads on the clamps don't stay on the metal clamp tabs very well and I've almost lost them several times after a guitar change. I have since glued the rubber pads onto the metal.
The stand is pretty flimsy and wiggly given it's high price tag.

It holds slab bodied guitars ok (as in JUST Ok,,, not really well) ... strat, tele, LP jr, etc.. Carved top guitars don't do so well....I can get it to hold on my 335 style guitars, but it is less than ideal and the guitar moves and shifts, creating the possibility of damaging the guitar finish. My Les Paul is too thick and heavy and it won't hold it at all. The clamps damaged the pickguard on my JM.
Thomann's service shipping it to me to USA (along with a guitar) was flawless, but the product is overpriced and needs some engineering improvements.

I bought it to play tapping style. It spring on all sides. Not stable at all. I'm thinking of taking it to a blacksmith to make a modification or looking for another one. IT MUST BE STABLE AND FIRM !

HR
Fiddly and not universal
HONEST REVIEW 30.07.2023
I can just about fit my electric Fender VI bass into this stand. The strat guitar is a little easier but still fiddly.

It's a good product in terms of materials, sturdy metal.

It's not so well finished - the rubber grips come of every time I remove my bass, risking a scratch.

It's very impractical.

The clamps are far too tight to push open (they're spring loaded) to easily get an instrument in. It takes more time than is really acceptable, especially if you need to set up quickly.

Even then the grips don't come far enough up the body to feel truly safe. I worry that it will fall every time I use it.

It's a nightmare to get back out again.

I've decided not to put my strat anywhere near it due to those easily removable rubber grips which fall of and expose sharp metal to scratch your instruments.
