Makes a natural sound

Very pleased with this one. I've earlier installed LR Baggs anthem on a classical guitar, done by a pro, but it was a mess with frequency trouble ftom the piezo. So this time I wanted a passiv pickup, and this one is fantastic. It does amplify the sound as it really sounds. I installed it myself, and that went ok, but I was worried about drilling into the guitar. I followed the advise in the manual, and bought a 12mm forstner bit, and with a bit of tape where I wanted to drill, it went out fine. I absolutely recommemnd this pickup, but you have to remember that since its passiv, its not so loud, so you will need a preamp to control volume and eq. I have a Nux stageman, and that works very well together with the pickup.

Used on gypsy jazz nylon guitar.

Not easy to fit all four pads in exactly the right place but the resulting sound is superb. I've got a JWC custom nylon strung gypsy jazz guitar and the general resonance is huge anyway. A right lively guitar! These pickups pass all of this on with gusto!
