These are quite unique as the only set which can be used in any configuration. If you want ball end - you got it. If you want loop end - a stout pair of wire cutters or combination pliers and one snip can cut through the brass ball end, converting them to loop end. If you want unison pairs - you got it, (with a spare .011 and .016). If you want octaves - you got it (with a spare wound .028 and .040). The only fixed parameter is the bell bronze winding 80/20. If you're a musician or roadie without wire cutters or combination pliers - what are you doing trying to re-string an instrument?
