Only good for practice and amateur recordings

As in the title. Honestly, I was very disappointed because the description on the website says that the irig is compatible with iphone 5, which is not true because it requires a much newer ios that cannot be installed on an iphone 5. after installation on ipad pro, the sound quality is average and suitable for home exercises. Although sometimes it's a waste of time for the exercises themselves to connect it all. The headphone sound when playing "garage band" is sufficient and there is a millisecond delay which annoys me personally ... Quality. The performance is sufficient, poor plastic and the gain control is slightly difficult because the potentiometer is hardly available hidden in the housing. I will not mention the application for this device, the prices are high and for a quite good package you can buy a weak mini combo that will work better for practice.
I recommend it to someone who has a new ios device and wants to record in home quality. I used this for the Squier PB 50s.

Practicing bass quietly

Used it on an android phone HTC U11 and got a lot of delay from it.
On my computer I couldn't get a nice sound from it. Lots of noise and distortion.
Maybe for IOS works better.
Also the app Amplitube doesn't work with this device on iOS so don't trust the adds.

does not work with mid-range android phone

I love the idea of this tool and know it functions well with iphone, ipad. However, the problem is with the android phone, where latency is the problem:
1. The go-to app is ToneBridge, Deplike and Bandlap (Amplitude is not supported on Android). My guitar sounds great, but with a 200ms delay.
2. Other app (e.g. AmpRack) gives slighter better latency (noticeable, 60ms but barely passable). The sound is worse, occasionally stop and the bass is always saturated/overdriven.

Eventually I could not use, and I think anyone with android phone would reconsider this purchase. Thankfully, Thomann offered full refund without returning it to save the shipping cost and consumption.

Impeccable service!!!!

About some issues

I bought this to be able to practice when I'm not home, so all I have to pack is my ipad, this gadget, my iem and my bass.
Comparing the sound quality to my Line6: It costs less (about half price), but it sounds much weaker, the signal is quite noisy, tested with a lot of cables, the Line6 is dead silent (not a ground problem on the bass, I checked with my amp as well, and it is silent). Overall I was expecting more bang for my buck, but for ad-hoc practicing, it will be adequate.

I'd recommend at least Apogee Jam.
