Harley Benton HQS EL 9-42

I've rated these on their value for money. These are good strings, not the best but not too far away. If D'Addarios are good, these are less than half the price but almost as good.

I use the HB Value strings when I'm doing mods, just to try the modded guitar out. They are half the price of these and adequate for that use. These are strings I would put once I knew the mod was fine. Great for practice and play, but I'd change them to Ernie Ball's for recording or Elixirs, if I knew the guitar would spend a lot of time on the rack between sessions. The rest of the time these are perfectly fine, and save money.
