Great strings for the price
_LewisGoose 20.06.2022
I bought these strings to use as back ups for when gigging and in the studio but thought I’d give them a try to see how they compare to my normal strings. I usually use Dadarrio NYXL strings. I had 2 guitars with the same scale length, one with these and one with the NYXL strings, I can honestly say there isn’t a huge difference between the two, but it is noticeable. Tuning stability is stronger on the NYXL strings, although that could just be that the Harley Benton’s take longer to stretch in, and the NYXL strings are slightly brighter.

Overall both sets of strings are great and these would definitely be a great choice for anyone. They will now always be my back up strings instead of Ernie Ball’s

A
Pack Of Awesomeness
Arthouros 25.09.2022
Ordered this strings by just like "ah, it will be some cheapy strings, for my second *training guitar*, that don't be regret to play as hard as i want to, and after a couple of weeks it will be throwed in trash", but, god, how i was wrong... Sound incredibly clearly and glassy, just like my modern 35$ strings, that i recieved for a New Year as a gift from my collegues and i was playing on my main guitar baby. Now I play on my *training guitar* way often that on main and i'm gonna order a bunch of these strings, cause it's real gamechanger for a less then 3 dollars! My strong recommendations. Order it immediatly!

LW
Unfortunately worse than the regular Valuestrings
Louis W 09.07.2023
Within a week of relatively heavy playing (playing a lot, but with a light touch), these strings go bright orange. They don't sound any different, but the coating has been decimated and look like they're rusting.

Bearing in mind that I've never had a set of Valuestrings snap, I have found a weird phenomenon with these Quality Series. The High E, for some reason, constantly breaks at the ball end. Completely unties itself from the ball and pulls through the bridge after a session of blues bends. Genuinely makes me terrified to play these strings on a gig because I know for a fact they'll snap if I'm taking a few solos.

Rather ironically I'll be sticking with the Valuestrings that are half the cost but significantly more durable.

As always, if you can afford the brand name, get them - IMO nothing beats the value of regular slinkys, but the Valuestrings are a GREAT replacement considering you can get 3 packs for the price of 1 set of Ernie Balls. Just don't buy these ones.

very good strings, i can't tell the difference between these and the ernie ball set, i guess the ernie ball are a bit more durable but in terms of sound there is no difference for me
