The book is a beauty, hard-cover, and a hard cardboard case in the same style. It's comprehensive: it really contains every Beatles song I could think of, and it contains the arrangements for all instruments. For guitar and bass, it contains score and tabs. That's the reason why it's over 1000 pages long!
An interesting case is "A day in the life", because of the complexity of the piece. The orchestra has been understandably simplified to a single score. But it contains separate scores for vocal, piano, guitar, bass and drums.
Why not five stars? Well, if I have to complain about something, I'd complain about the format. This book is as unwieldy as a bible. I would have preferred smaller sets of songs (possibly grouped by album), using a larger, easier to read, page size.
