Nice, but not the best
Slambot 25.07.2020
These are nicely made tuners... and expensive! But I am a bit disappointed in the lack of control when tuning. More in a minute.

Pros:
Nice quality build (on the outside!)
Look great and are correct for many Gibsons (the reason I bought them)

Cons:
Well, firstly, I own three or four pairs. They all feel inconsistent to one another. They feel a bit jumpy and not as easy to hone in on that perfect tuning as some other brands. But in one case, my SG Supreme, they feel and seem to work great. At that guitar was the reason I bought more sets. Sooooooo.....

If I could do it again, I would just buy Sperzel - I am an old school Sperzel user from the early 1990's and they are a superior tuner... not the most comfortable to tighten down the wheel - but accurate. PRS also makes some seriously killer tuners. These Grovers definitely pale in comparison to those mentioned.

You live and learn I guess!

Good but expensive.

If you do not like locking bridges a.k.a floyd rose, but still want to keep in tune, As far as I can tell, the 502 rotmatics are as close to perfection as you are gonna get. I like them more than I can describe, but, they are very expensive. Do your own tradeoff...
