Not perfect but pretty close

This is an excellent guitar in my opinion, however my opinion of Thomann support has taken a serious knock.
I reported that the strap button pins that are fitted to the body of the guitar were very loose, so loose that I could easily turn them out of the guitar body with light finger pressure and as they have a left handed thread on them, when I tried to fix a strap using the metal button which has a right handed thread, it started to turn the pin out of the guitar before the strap was secure.
Thomann tried to tell me this is normal even though I explained I had another Gretsch with the same buttons and they DO NOT come undone when attaching a strap, It felt like an excuse even though I had stated I didn’t want to return the guitar just report the problem, I have fixed this problem myself with a small amount of tight bond in the pilot hole where the pins are located and I can now attach a strap and tighten the buttons without the pins working loose, after all, what guitar player wants loose strap buttons on their guitar?
5 stars for the guitar (despite this minor problem) but 1 star for support, which is sad as they used to be brilliant, I guess there has been a change of management!
