Great travel uke
mynvidia 25.01.2021
Bought this as a gift for my daughter who is turning four years old. The uke came with a gigbag, instruction booklet and a bunch of stickers that my daughter liked. The overall build of this is pretty good except for a few minor smudges on the wood laminate top but that is to be expected for the price. The picture on the Thomann site does not show a strap button on the front of the instrument yet the one we received has it. I guess they must have updated it. Also, the fret markers are all circular now. The site shows flowers and even a butterfly marker. My daughter immediately noticed the difference as she was looking at the pictures with me when we ordered it.

The sound was pretty loud and clear. I was pleasantly surprised. This does not feel like a subpar instrument. Really nice. Action on the strings was good as well. Tuners stay in tune relatively well.

Highly recommended travel uke!

Comfortable, light, expected quality

Ukulele's are not really my main thing at all so I do not have much to compare; indeed the fact that is mostly made of plastic (the parts that will be in contact with your body, due to the plastic fretboard/bottom) makes it feel sort of more artificial than we usually feel when playing a normal ukulele or a guitar. Also, plastic might make you feel the sound a bit different, perhaps more dull, but good after all.

However, I chose this particular one due to the fact that it was meant for travelling, and indeed after a trip that lasted for 2-3 weeks (in a mountain bag, not even a suitcase) I can say that I am satisfied with it.

It feels a bit smaller than a normal ukulele, perhaps due to the rounded shape of the body. Tuners keep tune quite well even for all the movement that mine experienced (switched the default strings for other ones shortly after purchasing it).

Overall a good purchase for the value, but again, keeping in mind it's meant to be practical and tough, if the idea is to have a normal one that will mostly stay at home in good conditions, I would perhaps go for something more traditional.

Wow!

I have been playing the guitar for over twenty years and wanted to try out the ukulele. I didn't want to spend too much money, but I didn't want a toy uke either. After watching some videos on YouTube I decided to try this Flight Travel soprano. And I was not disappointed!

The Flight Travel uke is well build, solid, and has great playability thanks to the zero fret. Even higher up the neck it stays in tune.

I highly recommend this ukulele. It is great value for money.

This is my daughters second ukulele, but definitely her favourite. It has a wonderful jingle jangle sound.
