This is a quality product from Fishman and lives up to their high end reputation. It looks good clamped in the sound hole but does not impede the sound of the instrument unplugged. It gives a very true sound reproduction, crisp and clear. I had it fitted to my Martin J40 by a local luthier - did not want to risk drilling the hole for the jackpin connection.

Good sound for it's price

This is my second acoustic pickup, so I haven't much experience in this. But I've noticed it has a very wide frequency range. I play on 2 steps down tuned guitar with 13-56 phosphor bronze strings, and this pickup gives quite rich and clear sound on lower notes that the previous pickup lacked.
Unfortunately, it's picking up noises from radio, cables, wi-fi and other electronics, and i don't think it's possible to shield it on acoustic guitar. But SNR is bearable.
So, if you're searching for a good pickup but have small budget, this is what you need.

Best I have used - ever.

I've used a lot of acoustic pickups over the 47 years I've been playing, and this is the best sound I can remember. Fits well to the guitar, and has a volume control, which I didn't expect to use, but as the pickup is very loud I tend to keep it about three quarters of the way up rather than full. Good balance across the strings too. I'm not so keen on the batteries it takes, but it's quite a small pickup so there would be no room for the larger size that most pickups use. To sum up - I will use these in future.
