Fun-sized and punch-packing

Clearly this isn't the most expensive guitar available, but don't let that mislead you. This Mini Jazzmaster sounds excellent and it's smaller size provokes a sense of fun as soon as you take it in your hands.
It invites to play around, to fiddle about, to jam and to take it along with you wherever the road might lead.
This guitar is far more fun than one would expect. Suited for beginners, for kids and even for seasoned stringpluckers. I'm happy to have this buddy in my home.

Great choice

My daughter picked this one out of ten or so mini guitars available at Thomann, mostly because of color. And I have to send extra thanks to Thomann because after getting a mail from them saying that sadly the guitar wont be delivered to them in time for my daughter's 9th birthday somehow I received it a week beefore that...
I play semiprofessional, and have had over 30 or 40 guitars, currently having mostly fenders... so I understand you can't expect a premium product for 166 EUR.
When this one arrived it sounded good, intonation was good, string height was good, and there was no visual flaws to be found...

The back of the neck is dry, no lacquer, and I just made a few passes with a 500 grit sandpaper and then 1000 grit, after half hour of playing the neck felt great and was oiled enough by my hands ...
Only flaw is the nut, as the string slots are too narrow making tuning hard, the strings are kind of stuck in them, but I will fix that easy.
Pickups sound as good as any average humbucker, no complaints there, no scratchy pots or any sound problems...
One thing I will have to deal with is finding suitable gigbag.

So I do recommend this guitar for kids, maybe I received a good one, but for 166 EUR I am super happy, just hope my girl keeps playing.
