I am a Thomann-customer since many years and I have had a lot of equipment and instruments in my life. When I first opened the guitar case of this strad, I had one of the most striking experiences of my musicians-life: I got stunned. Perhaps it was the moment, perhaps the fulfillment of owning an American stratocaster, but I just couldn‘t lay my hands on this instrument. The instrument is delivered in a very chic (unfortunately plastic) case and it comes of course ready to play and adjusted. And when I say „adjusted“ I mean REALLY adjusted. For my taste the strings are perhaps a little to high above the 12th fret, but then again this is an universal adjustment and after six months or so I will visit anyways my guitar-doctor for a small calibration. The enormous palette of sounds this iconic instrument can produce is the main reason I bought it and yes it sounds like a stratocaster... if you want her to! If you don‘t, there is a lot of space for you to find your own sound. I have used her until now only in studio conditions of course, and I am truly happy with the plethora of nuances she can produce. The tremolo is well designed and the intonation holds much more then the older models. Of course don‘t wait any miracles, this is not a steinberger tremolo. But then again if you are the tremolo god, you wan’t buy a strad anyways... The frets are marvelously smoothed out on both ends and the neck is smooth and feels simply fine. The guitar comes with an authenticity certificate. If you think of purchasing a high end guitar which will refresh your love to the instrument and will give you new inspiration, well, you found it. Worth every Euro.

So eigentlich mache ich so etwas nicht, aber die Klampfe ist es einfach Wert. Ich habe schon ein paar Gitarren, darunter Les Paul Gibson Custom, SG Custom, Fender Strate American, Jupiter Gretsch, Fender Richie Kotzen usw. Nur dieses neue Modell von Fender ist schon eine Klasse für sich.
Das Palisander Griffbrett läßt sich butterweich spielen, der Sound läßt alles wer Fender Sounds mag keine Wünsche offen.
Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist das Volum Poti. Vollgas heißt Vollgas und weniger Klangregulierung kannst du wunderschön mit den Tonabnehmern super Sounde einstellen; wobei die Pull Funktion, die neu für mich ist, sehr angenehm ist.
Das Tremolo ist ok, gut bei sehr viel Schradeln, naja dem sind Grenzen gesetzt. Da gibts/leider gabs, in tiefer Verehrung an Meister Edi, genug Auswahl wer sich mit der Materie wohlfühlt. Aber hier vollkommen aussreichend und macht viel Spaß, Stimmungsverhältnis vom Tremolo ist ok und sonst ist sie absolut stimmstabil. Ich hab mir sofort bei der Bestellung 10 Fender Seiten draufziehen lassen.
Warum? komme am Besten damit klar, (habe auf verschiedensten Gitarren ausprobiert.)
So zum Schluß, optisch einfach edel, vom Feinsten, Verarbeitung in jedem Detail, sie hält in jedem Bezug mit den anderen Gitarren mit, ..... Fazit, sonst hätte ich sie nicht gekauft, ist aber natürlich Geschmacksache.
Der Koffer da kann man streiten, neu oder alte Vintage usw. Der ist Neu und ich als alter Vintage Fan finde ihn trotzdem spitze.
Das wars von mir, ich hoffe ihr habt genau soviel Spass wie ich auch. Sie erfüllt jeden Traum und ist jede Kohle wert. Eine meiner besten Klampfen wo ich habe.

Je me suis séparé de ma Stratocaster vintage 62 de 2005 pour acheter celle-ci car le vibrato vintage ne me convenait plus.
Ce modèle est donc équipé d'un vibrato sur 2 pivots. Il est bien plus stable que les vintages et surtout, il peut plus facilement être réglé flottant.
La couleur Olympic White est très belle et sans défaut.
La finition polie du vernis au dos du manche est une excellente idée car ça augmente considérablement le confort de jeu.
Je retire 2 étoiles pour le son car (et ce n'est que mon avis personnel) je trouve les micros V-mod ( d'origine ) fades. Ils manquent de dynamique et le son est froid. Sa sonne bien strat sur les positions 2 et 4 mais sur les positions 1, 3 et 5 c'est vraiment pas terrible.
J'ai remplacé après une semaine d'utilisation les 3 micros par des Texas Special. Si elle avait été monté comme ça d'origine, elle aurait mérité 5 étoiles.
Je retire également une étoile sur la qualité de fabrication car elle est arrivée avec un sillet de tête complètement fendu dans la longueur. C'est un défaut d'usine. Je l'ai fait remplacé par mon luthier mais sur une guitare à ce prix là, je trouve ça limite de la part de Fender.
En tout cas je recommande vraiment cet instrument parce que depuis que je l'ai, je ne la quitte plus.

I parted ways with my vintage Stratocaster 62 from 2005 to buy this one because the vintage vibrato no longer suited me. This model is therefore equipped with a vibrato on 2 pivots. It is much more stable than the vintage ones and above all, it can be more easily adjusted to float. The Olympic White color is very beautiful and flawless. The polished finish of the varnish on the back of the neck is an excellent idea because it considerably increases the playing comfort. I remove 2 stars for the sound because (and this is only my personal opinion) I find the V-mod pickups (d 'origin) bland. They lack dynamics and the sound is cold. Its Strat sounds good on positions 2 and 4 but on positions 1, 3 and 5 it's really not great. After a week of use, I replaced the 3 microphones with Texas Special. If it had been assembled like that originally, it would have deserved 5 stars. I am also removing one star on the manufacturing quality because it arrived with a nut completely split lengthwise. This is a factory defect. I had it replaced by my luthier but on a guitar at this price, I find it limiting from Fender. In any case, I really recommend this instrument because since I got it, I haven't taken it off.
