Iconic Drum Head

The Evans Heavyweight snare head is essentially "Old Reliable" for any high energy drumming that needs big accents. It definitely has the body and durability to withstand high energy drumming and absolutely smashing the snare. It has a proper amount of sensitivity for lower dynamics and ghost notes, but more dry and shorter sustain compared to the UV2, which was the head I used before this. The Heavyweight is less responsive in feel which is my only complaint, but overall it is a VERY good snare head. Would use again.
