The sound off the bass surprised me. It doesn't sound like a bass that would cost only a bit over 400 euros.

Pros:
-Good sound quality, awesome tones
-Beautiful
-All good except some little things:

Cons:
- Noisy pickups when using treble, boosting treble causes great hiss
Cut treble max. to minimize hiss
-Poor B-string, it's good enough but definitely not as good as the other strings

The overall feeling of the bass is pretty good and I am definitely liking the sound. Great tones for slap, great tones for finger play and partly muted playing. 9.5/10 - in it's price range, can't think of a better choice.

C
Great sounding with a lovely feel for playing
Cillian_ire 11.05.2020
I bought this as a guitar to learn how to play. I've played banjo before this, and it wasn't that hard a transition. the instrument is hefty but well enough balanced that it is comfortable to play sitting or standing. The action is a little high, even after re adjusting, and the strings are quite tense compared to 4 strings I've played since.

Use:
Practice and recording

Pros:
* Feels comfortable sitting and standing when playing for a long time
* Active control gives a nice bass or mid boost when playing with others
* Looks great

Cons:
* Treble control can give an audible hiss when turned passed half way point.
* Strings are very close together for a 5 string which can make slapping a little more difficult when starting with it

Alot of bang for the buck, really well made, nice sound and overall really good quality. Only issue I've had is a buzz with maxed treble which I'm yet to find a solution for, other than that I'm really pleased with this 5string.

Very nice bass for this price

Very good and solid bass guitar. Lies good in hands, has a nice tone. People mentioned hissing on high frequencies, nothing is heard on my side. The only problem is that pickups are quite silent, have to do a bit of preamp to get necessary tone strength
