Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich die Epiphone Frontier 110 aus den USA kaufe. Sie ist um ein Mehrfaches teurer als die Schwestern aus Asien. Dann hab ich sie bestellt. Thomann war wie immer sehr zuverlässig. Ich erlaube mir jetzt ein Urteil. Eine herausragende Gitarre sowohl für Strumming als auch für Fingerpicking. Sie hat ein unglaubliches Klangvolumen, kann aber auch leise. Sie zeichnet ein sehr transparenter Klang aus. Decke, Zargen und Boden sind nicht aus tropischen Hölzern. Das ist für mich ein wichtiger Aspekt. Man kann auf YouTube eine Menge über diese Gitarre erfahren. Die dort abgegebenen positiven Urteile sind meines Erachtens zutreffend.
Fazit: wer für zugegeben viel Geld eine wirklich tolle Western Gitarre sucht, ist bei der Epiphone an der richtigen Stelle.
