Electro Harmonix Stiil the Quirkiest Kid on the Block!

I love EH pedals there is something about them, some Mojo they have that help them to stand out in the crowd.
They are not the Quietest or Best Built Pedals but they just add something Fantastic to your sound.
The external power supply is a pain but it worth it for the Majestic Delay,Chorus and Vibrato Sounds inside this box.
I have read that the original Bucket Brigade IC Chips are running out so it may be a good time to take the plunge.
I doubt if you will be sorry.
I have compared this pedal to the newer model Memory Man with longer delay and Memory Boy's etc But I think this Pedal sounds better than either of those for what it's worth.

Loving it
Fredric 18.06.2014
Good clean analog fun from EHX. It's a keeper, sound is amazing, what can you say?! The only downside is that the damn pedal needs 24V to make your world echo like never before. And a tempo-tap button could have been good. But it really doesn't matter. It's a winner either way. BUY, BUY, BUY :)

B
Nice unit. A bit noisy.
Brian5879 07.11.2015
EHX has been around a long time. They are quality, vintage style and new effects. I think they are really meant more for gigging musicians, rather than studio work.
The units are durable and sound great, but can be noisy in the signal chain. That's why I say they might be more for gigging musicians. You wouldn't want to record the noise from your sound for posterity, unless that was your intent. If so, then go for it!
If a Big Muff has the sound you need, Live or Studio, then that's it. Job Done.

Amazing analog delay
Anonymous 10.03.2015
There is a reason why this is one of the most popular delays. The typical warm sound that can't be got from digital units. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles and it's expensive but it sounds so good. The overload light can be a bit irritating because it seems like it's got hardly any headroom but in actual fact it doesn't create any clipping when it lights up so just ignore the light and use your ears.
