Another slightly over priced but solid product from DW.
Apart from that you really can't argue with their hardware at all. These really are stands for life.
I've heard these come in different sizes. This one will go VERY high but also pretty short as well. I have it on a 24" kick and have it about a 3rd of the way up the internal rod and it's at a crash/ride kind of height. I'm sure the measurements are on the DW site though.
Features a lot of classic DW features (memory locks for consistent set up and toothless black handle tilter for easy perfect angling of your cymbal). Looks really classy too. Especially alongside my 6000 stands.
Bracket has been on my kit for a few months touring. It hasn't split the shell and has been solid as a rock (using it on a cheap Gretsch Catalina 24" kick at the moment). Never at one point have I thought it might fall. Hitting the cymbal hard will cause your bass drum to vibrate through to your foot sometimes but not enough to bother you in a live situation at all and if your practicing hitting that hard, the room will probably be vibrating anyway!

Allgemein gewohnt spitzen DW Mechanik, ABER doch sehr wackelig.
