I've always used dunlop picks, the price quality comparison is great. I mostly use the 0,88 on my electric guitar, specially for faster, heavier songs. I would also recommend the 0,75 which I found better for melodic song and for guitar solo recording.

Standard picks...

These have been around for decades.

I use these for bass, the grip is OK (it's NOT that glossy slippery material), the gauge is perfect for what I've been using them for (they don't flex easily but they do flex if you apply extra force so it's all up to you) and the price is not bad either.

If you play like a mad man they WILL get worn off relatively fast, but if you are a normal guitar player they will be fine for a long time.

My favourite pick

This is my favourite plectrum for electric guitar and bass, quite hard but not too much and excellent grip even with sweaty hands.
I cannot rate its quality for super high speed alternate picking because I'm not such a technic guitarist.
I don't personally reccomend it for acoustic guitars because it's a bit too hard for that use.
Its durability is good even in the case of aggressive and savage strumming.
So just perfect for my necessity.

Fine picks

The grip on these isn't very good compared to some other picks but the durabilty seems a bit better than on the 0,60mm version which I actually prefer. Still these picks are very good value for the money and I can recommend these to anyone.

Green Turtle Strikes Again!

I use this picks since 2008, I tried different brands of picks, during the years, but I think that this is the right compromise between the good feeling and the strong sound, it fits even from play funk or something hardest. Good greep even your hand, and even you too, is sweaty, good quality, nice the historic turtle illustrated on the pick, but i need to give them a minus about the durability.

A Solid Choice

These picks are great all-rounders. I use them on everything from acoustic ballads to death metal. Great for when nylon picks aren't firm enough but heavier/harder picks are too much.

Used these for years. No complaints, other than I don’t know where they disappear to all the time :)

The pick of choice

I've been using Tortex picks for over 20 years & have never deviated. They just have a great feel about them when in play. Not much more to be said, they're the best...in my opinion anyway.
