Great little VCA
Anonymous 29.10.2016
This is a great VCA in a compact form factor with plenty of useful features.

As always the unit oozes Doepfer quality and as always at a very reasonable price. With 2 CV inputs one of which has a level control enable complex controlled modulation of the amplitude of the incoming signal. It can easily end up sounding like a ring modulator.

Two audio inputs can be mixed with independent level controls much like a mixer but with CV control.

Anyone thinking of buying a VCA should check this out. Thanks Doepfer!

Rock Solid

Uses very little space in the rack, a great little module to mix audio signals and built to the usual high Doepfer standard.

I use this to mix the signals from 2 filters into one channel for further processing, and was delighted that it came with 2 screws. Can see me buying more of this unit in the future.

Another essential module from Doepfer
Anonymous 19.01.2016
This is a handy linear VCA, which as you can tell from the name if intended for amplifying control voltages. However, it works just fine for audio signals too, which makes it ideal for a range of tasks within a modular setup. It has two attenuated inputs for CV/audio and controls for input gain and output level. It has two CV inputs for external modulation, CV1 and CV2. Only CV2 is attenuated, and I suspect this was purely to keep the size of the panel down. I find that having attenuation on both signal inputs is more useful because it in effect gives me an extra linear mixer to play with. As I have come to expect from Doepfer, the build quality is great and it looks like it belongs in a laboratory instead of a studio.
