Finger Pickin Good.

Installed this in the middle position of my Ibanez SA260. Clean tones it can be used to create a very nice popping chicken picking sound. It's really very sensitive to height adjustments in a very positive way. Add a bit of gain and you can get a nice classic Strat sound. Too much gain and it tends to loose its edge and wash out. Definitely a clean strat style pick up. I'm very happy with it.

Some small venues have bad electrics. Many cables or electric boxes or whatever placed near the stage. This will give you hum in a single coil, real bad if you plays with overdrive. This pu is the answar as i cancels hum and sound sort of like a single coil. Wouldnt use for recording though.

GM
One of the best noiseless single coil pickups
George M71 21.12.2022
If you want real single coil sound with no noise, this is the solution. The Area 58 is clear and bright, but sweet sounding with a great dynamic range.
I prefer it, in the neck and middle positions. For more treble try the Area 67 and for more mids (Texas style) try the Area 61. DiMarzio never disappoints.
