Classic, simple, affordable.. Nothing strange.. Went up gauge with the Heavy low, light high strings 10/52. But remember, if you go for 52 size on the heavy E it is not sure it will fit in the hole of all tuning pegs at the headstock. I had Fender F tuners and it didnt fit so one side of the tuning post broke and I had to wrap the string around just the remaining side of the tip of the tuning post. It worked, but a bummer to break the thing.. I tried to use a small sharp tool to widen the whole slightly to make the string fit and that is how it broke.. Those tuner posts look like metal but it was plastic! Think about that. Otherwise the 52 low E is really smooth and fat and stabile.

I have experimented over the years with many string brands ,all have their own character & different sound personality, these are a tight sounding yet bright and suit my heavy playing ,great for bends and easily maintained ,amazing value great tone an under rated string in my opinion.

Guitar teacher was impressed

I can't really tell a diference between top quality strings and medium quality strings, but my guitar teacher was impressed by built quality and sound.

One of the best strings I have tried so far. they don't lose their intonation as fast as other strings when they age and they sound rich and responsive. They are a bit harder and they will wear your frets and fingers more than nickel wound strings, but that's something that doesn't bother me. If your guitar has nickel frets, I would not recommend them long term

Very high-quality strings. To use them for the first time, but very satisfied. My guitar sings like never before.

reliable strings

The best quality strings for the price. They do not compete with the exliers or the NYXL's in regards to price but, in my opinion they come closest in terms of quality.

Good quality alternative to Elixir
DrewCadaver 07.01.2015
I usually play with Elixir strings and have for many years, however lately I've been dissatisfied with them so looked for an alternative. I tried these Dean Markley strings which were bright straight out of the packet and have lasted well. They hold tuning nicely and don't seem prone to breaking etc. Corrosion doesn't seem to be a massive issue with them either.
