Good, but pretty small
Ibbo 29.09.2020
I use these picks for playing bass and they're a bit small for my taste, but when you're used to them, you won't even notice it.

The grip is really good, but, if you strike the strings hard while playing you might drop the pick due to its size.

If you're a guitarist, these picks are really good, they're pointy, small and provides great grip.

My New Favorite Pick
esthern0len 19.01.2018
While being thicker than most nylon, celluloid or similar picks I have played, the Dava Jazz Grip also seems softer and more flexible than comparably thick nylon picks. This makes it appropriate for a vast range of styles and situations, so that I've ended up using it for everything except heavy strumming on a steel string.

It is also VERY durable - I have been using all six picks in the set for almost five months and haven't noticed any marks of use on any of them.

It is obviously designed for an extra good grip and to prevent slipping, and in this respect it is designed well. The tip, although sharp, has a softer attack than I usually get using nylon picks, meaning more tonal subtlety as you have to play harder to get the pronounced *pop* when picking. Personally, I like the difference it makes in my tone.

Will definitely be checking out some of the other Dava Jazz picks.

DL
Perfect
Daniele Lupo 16.06.2020
I am a metal player, and have been all sorts of picks through the years.
I have to say these are amongst the few I really like along with the Carbon Nylon Series and a few Dunlop Jazz ones.
They are well made, won't break, the grip is simply perfect, they never ever slide off your fingers, and the attack due to their thickness (1.52) it's simply perfect, especially if like me, like going at the strings with some force. Totally recommended.

Best picks for sweaty hands!
Anonymous 03.07.2015
I changed dozens of different picks, from dunlop to ibanez, fender... and this are by far the best ones I have ever bought. They have rubber grip so if your hands sweat a lot like mine, then try dava jazz, you won't be disappointed. Dava also has some other different style picks and while I tried them all, this one suits me well. For solo and rhythm this are the best.

A slightly different pick, but only slightly.
Cai 23.03.2016
These picks are very tough indeed. They are very tough, very thick and quite comfortable too. They're almost a bit too thick at the point, but this does aid with durability and if you have a strong pick attack then these won't affect your playing too much whilst still being incredibly tough. They have a bit of a softer sound compared to your regular Dunlop plastic plectrum, but that can be quite good especially if you pick very hard as picking too hard can give a bit of an icepick quality and these can help ease that slightly. They're very grippy though, even when playing at a gig where the temperature is way up and your hands are sweating like taps. Overall, very good picks which are specialised for somebody who picks harder than average.

MR
Excellent Picks
Miguel Russo 30.09.2019
I love these picks.

I am a jazz player, sometimes I slip into rock and fusion.

These picks are durable, have a GREAT grip, and are extremely comfortable. I can't use anything else now.

10/10 recommend.

It should be the first choice for those who like to use small picks.

Dava Jazz Grip Delrin Picks
jolter 08.10.2024
Bought the set as I have one single and I did like it.
Turned out that these are smaller than regular size. Not as small as smallest "jazz" picks. For those who are used to regular pick size I do not recommend - it need to be get used to different touch. Not all will want it, including myself. Going to next round for bigger ones as I like DELRIN as material for picks and I like the regular one I have already.
Very good sounding but size is not regular.

The most comfortable picks I've tried yet with great grip! Playing mostly heavy gauge, baritone strings and rhythm parts in the lower sections, they wear off pretty quickly, especially if you're looking to keep the feel and sharpness of a fresh one. But still worth the money in my opinion.

S
among the best picks I've used
Slorany 18.01.2018
I've been using those picks for about 3 years now, frequently trying a few other types, and I never was disappointed nor have I ever found better picks, especially for the price.

I use them for electric guitar, not for acoustic as they still have quite a noise to them.
