Yesterday I tried to install Danmar tension rod washers on my Ludwig Supraphonic. I always tune my snare drum to a medium pitch, never too high, meaning the tension of the rods is also moderate. These washers are made of soft plastic, the washers collar collapsed as soon as I was getting toward the wanted pitch. Removed them and returned the old metal washers I had before...
