Very cool product overall.
I bought this strap for my Epiphone MB-100 banjo and it works almost perfectly.
Firstly, it looks cool: I love the color scheme. That and the low price were the reasons I bought it.
As far as comfort goes: yes, it would be more comfortable if it had some type of padding but it doesn't hurt me at all even after hours of continuous playing, so great job on that.

The only thing that could be improved is the connection part between the strap itself and the hook part. It is very rare, but sometimes it comes off and I have to fit it in again. However, this is not a big deal because, as I said, it almost never happens and it only does if I pull it a certain way.

Concluding, unless you are a very professional hardcore player that needs a super sturdy strap that'll have to endure many many hours of playing and carrying around, this one will do perfectly fine.

C
Good strap, clips aren't great
ChristofferP 27.01.2020
The strap itself is fine - solid, attractive, comfortable enough as banjos aren't overly heavy.

I picked this strap over others because I thought the clips would make it more practical and solid (no risk of knots slipping or thin cord wearing out and breaking). Instead the clips feel flimsy and I'm concerned they'll break one day, while the clip is hard enough to open that it's tricky to get onto the mounting points yet also doesn't fit on the tension rods or other hardware for an alternative mounting. I ended up just preferring to not use the strap and play seated, and in future I'll likely replace the clips with laces or something else.

SC
Colourful !
Simon C 25.11.2017
Having discovered how heavy (and uncomfortable) my new banjo is, a strap was required, despite planning to remain sat down. Quick click purchase for the cheapest. Didn't appreciate how "jazzy" the colour scheme would be !

The strap is a little lightweight and flimsy, it was however the cheapest in Thomann's range. But it works fine and perfectly acceptable for the price.

C
Good for the price
Chubs 22.11.2018
I bought this strap for my new banjo and quite simply chose it as it was the cheapest.
Good points are it was cheap, looks good and is comfortable to use.
The only bad point is the rather clumsy clips. They can be quite fiddly to attach.
All that being said I am more than happy with this strap.

good quality at a good price, clips are plastic but are still heavy duty and sturdy.

Adequate

Fits its purpose, although plastic it is durable and the nylon seems to be a bit rough around your neck,, but hoping it will get softer in time.

Good strap let down by its clips.
buyer234 05.09.2018
Strap is easy to adjust and holds its length well when set. It is wide enough to be comfortable to wear, stitching pattern is attractive and seems of good quality without any signs of fraying.

Unfortunately the strap is badly let down by the chunky plastic clips which look and feel cheap. They are also too large to clip onto the tension rods of a banjo so you cannot properly adjust the hanging angle of the instrument by relocating the strap clips around the pot.

Overall it is a serviceable strap and fair value for the price. Removing the horrid plastic clips and replacing them with laces or cords makes it better and more personal!

Not the color showed in the pictures.

Uglier than I thought and not the same color as advertised but verall not a bad strap. The clips doesn't seem to be too sturdy. I wouldn't buy it again.

A
nice and cheap
Anonymous 21.03.2016
I bougth this strap together with my first banjo and chose it because it was the cheapest. Well, I rather like it aesthetically and it's sufficiently confortable for me. I don't play the banjo hours on end, though, if that's your case perahps a more padded one would be better.

You get what you pay for
Martone 07.11.2017
It worked for close to a year, but then the plastic part that clips onto the banjo broke during a gig, which apart from somewhat embarrasing was potentially dangerous. I will buy something with no plastic parts next time.
