Harmonicas?
Peter R. 438 20.03.2014
I play harmonicas a lot and any weaknesses soon become apparent, Most makes are OK, but I feel the more we pay for them (above ?50) the more we are wasting our money. OK, anything below ?10 is not to be relied on so much, but having said that, if we are careful and do not over suck or over blow, they will last long enough.

These are another OK harmonica, sound great, easy enough to blow/suck and in key, same as most makes.

Most makes (I have tried them all in my 53 years of music) last almost 3 to 5 months before sounding a little out of key.

So for me, the price has to be sensible, then I will happily use them. Low "D" is a very weak harmonica, no matter who makes it from what metals, sounds nice and bluesy compared to the high and squeaky standard "D", hole number 7 blow always "goes out" in very little time (any make, if they make it). I am experienced enough to be very careful, suck or blow, but the inevitable happens & this one lasted 4 to 5 minutes from new, before sounding dreadful.

Which brings me to Thomann (my choice), who do mostly the best prices around with quick delivery too. They also guarantee their products for three years!
