e
Amp- and chain-friendly DD sound + tap tempo

In the past, I used to be concerned about delay pedals that only have one sound to them, cause, you know, it may not work exactly as you want in the specific position you put it in the chain, or you may want it to be more subtle or whatever, and then it's good to have a few other options to find something that fits you ear, etc. However, since I got my DD-8 some time ago, I found that the default digital delay sound worked so well that I didn't really need or want to switch to any other mode. So, next time I needed a delay pedal with tap tempo I thought why not save a few cents and give the one-sound-only DD-3T a try, if the single sound on it is probably the same as the digital on the DD-8? And, yes, it is, and, just like the DD-8, it sounds right and basically does all its big brother does for me ... well, except for the trails feature, which would have been nice but is not something that critical. The tap feature works like a charm with the cheapest Harley Benton switch imaginable, just like the DD-8 too. So, this plus trails would be the endgame for me, but even without them I don't think there is a better and more reliable tap-enabled digital delay you can buy within this price range.

Amazing pedal, best digital delay in my opinion. Has been a mainstay on so many boards over the years. Sounds great and is literally indestructible

I just don't like digital delay's...this is the 2nd this year i had send back.
The first one was the one from TC Electronics....and now this Boss pedal. Don't like the type of delay sound they give. Sent it back and ordered the Nux Tape Core....tape emulation and now we're talking! Great sound that thing gives. Now that's a keeper.
