Bose F1 Subwoofer

I bought one subwoofer for a pair of model 812's to gain some extra bass, especially when used outdoor. I tried only once in a real environment (Covid party in the garden for my neighbours), it really rocks. It works very well and looks professional as the holder of the 812 top speaker, I am planning to invest more and buy a second one once the party season finally starts. What is surprising is the level of bass created from a relatively small sized box. It

What I like:
- The sound is great, especially from a 2x10" sub
- Weight is only 25 kg
What I don't Like
- Not possible to use normal 35 mm speaker pole for other Top speakers
- I can't change the height of the Top speaker by using the original bose stand

I was sceptical about buying a woofer with 10 inch drivers, and I totally purchased this based on reviews but after gigging with these WOW! The responsive deep bass from the F1 sub is definitely up there with most high end 15 and 18 inch subs. Such a big sound from such a compact box. Paired with my Bose F1 Model 812 loudspeakers the sound is just phenomenal. If you are not sure weather to buy these or not stop thinking about it and do it. Save your money! You will be very impressed. I get compliments about my sound at almost every gig.

Can I justify the expense -probably not but I got a comment about the sound quality first time I used them. They are a bit heavy and unwieldy in transport, but the additional Thomann bags protect them very well

Wish I did not spend more on L1 Model 2 B2 Bundle wich ironically costs more to my address by 250Euro!
Is Loud, Bass is excellent. Can handle a deaf crowd

Gasses alot (smell of burning wires)

To turn thhose basses into surround sound it will be difficult but i will succeed i hope..
