Before buying, I listened to these models right away:
AKG (275, 271 MK2, 371), Sony mdr (7506, 7510), A.T. (M50X, MSR7b), Beyerdynamic DT (990/250, 240, 250/250, 250/80, 231PRO), (Shure 840), (something from focal is not expensive).
I found the DT 250/250 to have a better midpoint than the 250/80.
In comparison with other headphones, the DT250 is natural sounding, all parts are heard, good / fast attack, no dips and humps on the frequency response. My ears fit completely into the DT250.
In general, the DT250 made a very good impression.
Also, I got the impression that all the other headphones I listened to can be combined under such a heading - "somewhere, something, wrong" or there is no bottom or the middle is fried).
After a direct comparison, an idea appeared how some headphones can be popular))
Once again, I am convinced that you need to buy only after wiretapping and comparison.
ADDITION: I returned these headphones (Due to channel imbalance. There is more bass in the right earpiece, and in the middle in the left. After listening to other DT250S and reading the Internet, I got the impression that this problem is in almost every or every DT250. This is a shame for the manufacturer. It is a pity that Thomann does not check the goods before shipment (Since the money is not refunded for customs.
Additions 2: Chose Fostex T60RP.
Very comfortable. Very detailed sound.
(Motul M2 rocks them well.)
ADDITIONS 3: As a result, after listening to these models: AKG (275, 271 MK2, 371, 361), Sony mdr (7506, 7510), A.T. (M50X, M40X, M30X, MSR7, MSR7b), Beyerdynamic DT (990/250, 770/80, 240, 250/250, 250/80, 231PRO), Shure (840, 440), Mackie (MC250), Yamaha (HPH MT7), Sivga (Phoenix, P2, SV021), Meze (99 Neo, 99 Classic), Fostex (T50RP, T60RP), Focal (Spirit Pro), Sennheiser (hd650, hd560s).
I still have: Fostex T60RP and Shure 840.
This is where I stop searching. I made my choice.
