Excellent for live sound

Carrier case is very handy. Behringer quality is always higher than what you pay for the product so they are well worth the investment

Cheap mics at an economic price
Michael D. 858 31.05.2013
I got these Mics to use for our choir.

The mics were incredibly cheap at 30 euros for a set of three. Which is a very attractive price.

The sound quality of these mics is not top notch. You would not use them for home studio recording. But in a live situation like our choir these mics sound fine.

If you compare these mics to the sure SM58 you will definitely notice that these mics have a duller sound.

With all this said.
The sound quality we are getting from these mics in the church is quite acceptable. When we run these mics through our own mixing desk and amp. In my opinion the sound quality is even better than the more expensive mics through the speaker system that is in place in the church already.

At the price point that these are selling for the cost to performance ratio is very positive.

I would recommend these mics to anyone who is getting started with a live setup and wants to get started cheaply. And you will never regret having a few extra mics on hand even after you upgrade to more expensive gear.

J
A good starting package for the beginner band
J.Y 08.01.2014
While most of the microphones with a good reputation often costs twice or more than these ones, the Behringer XM 1800S is actually not a bad choice for beginners.

I've been using these mics for over a year now and I have yet to experienced anything bad with them. These mics are easy to use, feels great in your hand and comes in a handy box. The fact that they all have on/off switches and a clip for each microphone included in the package is also nice feture.

Of course, if you are a experienced singer this is probably not what you're looking for, but for the beginner band, or someone who just want's a couple of cheap microphones to start with, this is a great deal.

Budget mics.
Anonymous 02.03.2016
Budget microphones. They do as required. You'll not be putting them out for Metallica or Pearl Jam, but for a small band starting out, they done exactly what was required of them.

Value for money though, you'll not beat getting 3 mics, a good sturdy case and nice packaging for so cheap anywhere else.

Behringer have done a great job here in catering for the budget band.

Talking mic
OleksandrB 21.01.2014
Need a cheap talking mic? This is it.
Even you can sing in it, but technically the quality is low for singing.
But for the price you'll get 3 mics, 3 mic handles, case.
Bought them for small church, works fine.

Behringer XM1800S Set

We bought this mics on a very tight budget.

They are OK especially if you consider they are basically roughly 10 ? a piece, however they do not behave well in a loud situation, so I would recommend it for an up-and-coming band, or some other public address situation on a tight budget.

You get what you pay for is the right way to describe it. The sound is somewhat muffeled and it requires a lot of EQ.

Behringer XM1800S set

A set of 3 well-matched dynamic mics.
Very smooth mid-range frequencies, but not as bright at more expensive specialist mics. Corrects ok with a little EQ high-mid / high boost.
Switch feature is a bit small and can create a bit of a thump.
Worked well on backing vox and micing up guitar cabs.
