Very nice and convenient DI for rack-mounting. I used to have some separate DI-boxes on the floor, but now I can just plug-in bass guitars etc directly to my rack, and don't worry about anything but instrument cables.

Bought this specifically to eliminate hum, from a 10m long audio signal cable. Mostly worked, but still lots of hum left in the signal. The plug?, is an American 2 pin plug, with a flimsy, kinky, light breakable adapter, that they give you a wobbly, loose, easily fall out, UK adapter plug, to plug that into, yuck!. The whole plug thing once assembled is massive, takes up loads of space, is loose, wobbly, flimbsy, fragile, and falls off unplugging itself, very easily indeed. And it doesn’t eliminate the hum fully once set up. Spend a bit more money!, this one’s cheap, but pretty useless.

Nutze die DI im Homerecording Bereich. Es sollen verschieden akustische Signale aufgesplittet werden, die zum Verstärker, dort abgenommen, und parallel dazu direkt in einen Tape Recorder geschickt werden. Außerdem nutze ich die DI als Symmetrierer, damit weniger Einstreuungen beim Recording auftreten. Booster Funktion und Absenkung ist auch an Bord. Die Verarbeitung scheint sehr solide. Kommt kompakter daher, als man denkt, so ist das Teil sehr platzsparend einsetzbar. Zum Sound: ich konnte nichts Negatives feststellen, keine Klangveränderung, eventuell eine leichte Präsenzanhebung bei Boost, die jedoch sehr subtil ist. Getestet wurde mit Stimme in ein Bändchenmikrofon und Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer über Kontaktmikrophon, beides in einen Acoustic Röhrencombo. Ergebnis: absolut sauber im Sound. Man bekommt hier zu einem wirklich günstigen Preis vier volle Kanäle, was für mich volle Punktzahl ergibt! Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht, was Behringer da gebaut hat. Danke Thomann.
