The felts on my Strad was already worn down from 15 years of playing. So the valve alignment was really messed up. This set of felts brings back the playability to optimum level.

At this price, no reason not to change the felts on your Strad every so often. If your felts are tired or hard, these will quieten the valve return and bring the valves into correct alignment.
