I bought an AT-LP120-USBHC (from a different vendor) that I had to return. Mainly because the motor made a mechanical noise that was just too loud (and after some research it seemed to be a rather common issue with that model).
This model (LP140XP) is silent. And it makes a number of other little improvements over the LP120 that together makes this model far better. The biggest one is the rubber damped platter.
Well worth the extra cost!
EDIT: there's some hum from the (I guess) transformator. Not very loud and can't hear it while playing records. But still annoying so downgraded my rating a bit... Not sure if it's worth returning it for or not yet...

Small amount of wobble in the platter

Usage: at home, with a fairly basic setup, two turntables, mixer, monitors.
Pros: everything from looks to performance, considering the price.
Cons: I bought two and after setting them up noticed that one had noticeable wobble on the platter as it rotated. It wasn't enough to mess with the sound of the records playing but it made the needle sometimes skip when holding a record in place. I got it replaced by Thomann no problem. Replacement is fine, no faults and the other one hasn't had any issues - this at the 5 month mark.

Quality product in everything.I search and read a lot before buy it .Saw so many reviews and videos and i say that i took the best decision. I was between pioneer plx500 and 140xp.. If i had to choose again i would take the same decision...Of course time will saw me if i was right.

J'ai acheté cette platine pour une usage domestique, je ne me vois plus promener des dizaines de kg de vinyles à notre époque!
Dès le déballage, on sent le sérieux de la marque, tout est bien conditionné, avec grand soin.
Pour des personnes connaissant ce type de produit, l'assemblage se fait sans réfléchir, et le réglage du bras est très précis. Un réel plaisir de manipuler cette qualité de produit, je n'ai pas trouvé de défaut...
Niveau moteur, c'est parfait, couple très élevé, faites ce que vous voulez avec le plateau, le moteur suit avec une grande réactivité!
Au niveau de l'écoute, c'est parfait, et le petit plus: l'isolation de la platine, même avec un niveau sonore XXL, pas d'accroche, une très bonne surprise!
Platine livré avec une cellule entrée de gamme, très bonne pour une écoute de qualité, mais à oublier pour un usage DJ avec scratch! Même en mettant un peu plus de pression, elle reste trop souple et ne reste pas dans le sillon... Normal!
Acheté donc, pour me faire plaisir à la maison, j'utilise le capot fourni, qui s'enlève très facilement, ce capot se raye extrêmement facilement, attention de ne RIEN poser dessus!
Les câbles sont détachables, la qualité de fabrication excellente, tout ce qu'il faut pour des DJs désirant travailler avec au quotidien!

I bought this turntable for home use, I don't see myself carrying around tens of kg of vinyl in this day and age! From the moment you unpack it, you feel the seriousness of the brand, everything is well packaged, with great care. For people familiar with this type of product, the assembly is done without thinking, and the adjustment of the arm is very precise. A real pleasure to handle this quality product, I haven't found any fault... Motor level, it's perfect, very high torque, do what you want with the plate, the motor follows with great responsiveness! In terms of listening, it's perfect, and the little extra: the insulation of the turntable, even with an XXL sound level, no catch, a very pleasant surprise! Turntable delivered with an entry-level cartridge, very good for quality listening, but forget it for DJ use with scratching! Even with a little more pressure, it remains too flexible and does not stay in the groove... Normal! Bought so, to please myself at home, I use the cover provided, which is removed very easily, this cover scratches extremely easily, be careful not to put ANYTHING on it! The cables are detachable, the build quality is excellent, everything you need for DJs wanting to work with it on a daily basis!
