JC
Fantastic studio mic
JL Cook 28.04.2020
This mic is perfect for many applications. I had amazing results with voice overs, broadcasts, male singers, bass amp, acoustic piano and flute. It's really solid, well built, nice and heavy.
The ONLY thing I find sometimes annoying is that without an external shockmount or balljoint you can't tilt the microphone, as it screws directly onto the mic stand or the boom arm. This may be a problem if you are setting up some stereo recording techniques, but other than that it isn't an issue. It has a built-it shockmount that works nicely.
It has 3 switches, one for the highpass filter (80Hz), one for the polar pattern (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure of 8) and one for pad (-20dB, -10dB, 0)
The microphone is just amazing, not harsh, full bodied, and really solid, perfect for acoustic instruments, cabs and voice-overs.

I
Good all-rounder at a reasonable price
Ingridk_ 19.02.2021
I purchased this mic to record vocals remotely but the different polar patterns gives me the option to record so much more such as multiple voices at once.

The build quality is very sturdy and the mic itself is quite heavy- which I enjoy but the weight maybe something you want to consider if that bothers you.

For the price and sound quality - this mic is a real goer, obviously it won't compare to the top rated neumann mics but I find that is still a quality mic and I think setting up the space around it in a room can really set you up for success.

EB
Way too much hype.
Edgar Blackdagger 20.09.2018
I bough this because of the extremely positive reviews that bombarded the internet, after some years of using it here's my view.

It's a useful mic for high end, it captures it well and clear, though it can be harsh, thin and lifeless, which also makes it take saturation very badly, which is very important for me.
As drum overhead it's almost like an Earthworks, waaaay too much high-end and not the useable kind, while the snare and toms sound like toys.
For vocals it can do wonders with soft, breathy female pop voices, but for anything else you need to extremely de-ess and EQ it to be useable.
It's also extremely sensitive to certain frequencies and I've accidentally made it "crap out" while recording drums and even vocals.

To me it's a trend mic that will not stand the test of time, it's ok for the price but nothing like its hype, to me it was useable only in figure-8 because the proximity effect made the freq response a bit more natural but still treble-heavy and fragile.
I ended up selling it and got into full-range ribbon mics.

If you want 2020 pop or influencer-style sound it's ok.

PC
Bueno por el precio
Patricio Campos 06.03.2021
Pros

- Good, Sturdy, easy to use(no need for pop filters/shook-mounts)
-Good for vocal and acoustic guitars.

Cons

- I found the sound kind of weak en the middle, not so flat sound. Wish it had more clarity.

Conclusion: Is very good for the price, listen to demos and if you like the sound, go ahead.
