No good
markinof 10.01.2023
The amount of light it produces is ok but the quality is very poor: the beam of light is very undefined with two yellowish/orange spots on top and bottom. And more: the spot is very concentreted in the center unlikle a good fresnel shouldn't do!

Great but...
bror31 16.05.2022
I bought this to use in pair with my Amaran 200X and sadly is not well designed for that bicolour light. Luckily I also have a Apurture 300D MKII and when paired with that beast the amount of light is ridiculous.
Great craftmanship.

Need more output and control? Get the fresnel 2x
Simvid 13.05.2024
This former gives you more control over your lights spread in either a more spotted or more flooded way in comparison to the standard reflector that comes with Aputure /Amaran lights.
Also at a spotted setting it gives you about a full stop more light output. This might vary between lights, so do your own testing. But the Frensel 2x lives on my Amaran 300C

At least it’s easy to use
AlexanderOO 28.07.2024
I found this lens to spread the light unevenly and produce very unsightly edges compared to the Arri 650 Fresnel. Does it do its job of concentrating the light? Yes, just not quite as well as you might expect for the price. If you are mixing multiple sources, this shouldn't be a problem.
