Very good small diaphragm microphone with a balanced sound. Unlike my Soyuz 013, it has very little hype at high frequencies and slightly less sensitivity. Thus it is more suitable for vocal recording(choir or ensemble) and may be less for the recording of an electric or acoustic guitar. It's high frequencies are not harsh at all. Included microphone models FX are gorgeous. I love the KM184 model. If you mix in the control panel both clean mic preamp and modeled AFX channel together then it almost eliminates all microphone noise(both acoustic and electrical I think). And of course, as I received it as a compliment to Discrete 4 Pro SC it is all wonderful. Thanks, Antelope!
2 little remarks: the microphone is more sensitive to the wind blow even in the room from hand movement for example, so you always need to have wind protection on it. And I personally would prefer to have a case for the pair of them. But these are not very critical requirements, especially since the factory box is very durable and wind, dust, or saliva protection is a must-have for such tools.
